Our Story

Lucky Pig is a new gallery and studio in Old Colorado City owned by a new Colorado Springs resident…me, Cathe Physioc. I do not actually sell pigs… but, if I find a fabulous, collectible one, I will put it on the shelf. Lucky Pig Gallery is named after a wee, wee, wee antique Vienna bronze pig with a horseshoe in his mouth. He is my little muse. He is the patron pig of the gallery and it’s namesake.

I am a career artist and a designer who moved to ‘The Springs’ from Los Angeles and Santa Fe, NM. Walking down Colorado Avenue one stunning, sunny day, my husband said, “You should open a gallery. Look, that place is for lease.” I fell in love with this circa 1900’s space. So, here I am. Following a desire to become part of this community and to get back into my art in my own studio, I have chosen to open this studio and gallery. Lucky Pig Gallery will offer contemporary, original art and vintage pieces…and unique, interesting, authentic artifacts from our personal collection and from around the world. Welcome.
